Introduction

I'm an 18-year-old Filipino finishing my last year of high school in GEMS WSO, Dubai. I enjoy reading and writing, and play multiple instruments. I will be attending Brown in the fall to double concentrate (major) in Mechanical Engineering and History.

My other acceptances include Carnegie Mellon, Edinburgh, Manchester and Warwick (all for MechEng). During high school, I took the IBDP programme (HL: Physics, Math, English; SL: Spanish B, History, Chemistry) and applied to my universities with a 44 predicted. In the US, I applied with a 1580 SAT (800 EBRW, 780M). My strong points in my applications were my grades and writing.

My US college admissions process was primarily independent, mostly making use of online resources.
